WHAT WE DO
Well, to start off by saying that we are passionate about singing is a bit of an understatement! All Round Voices is run by Claire Fowler, Karen Heard and Dave Sealey, and is all about singing and enjoying the positive well-being benefits of doing so.
It all started around 8 years ago, when Claire and her father Dave Sealey started the Find Your Voice choir in Studley. Karen, who is a professional actor and singer, approached Claire and Dave to set up a further choir in Feckenham, which was created 5 years ago. This is how the All Round Voices Community Choir was born.
Now Claire, Karen and Dave hold a choir sessions every Monday evening at Studley Village Hall, every Tuesday evening at Feckenham Village Hall and every Tuesday afternoon in the St Godwald’s Church Hall in Bromsgrove. We sing a diverse repertoire of songs, for example we have celebrated the music of the 1960’s and the Best of British composers in fantastic concerts at Studley Village Hall, raising money for various charities. We have also been involved with performing an amazing suite of music to commemorate the First World War. The music was composed by a local composer, especial-ly for a concert held in November 2016, and we had the honour of being the only choir ever to perform this spec-tacular music. We sing at loads of different venues and events and we also do lots to support local charities such as the Primrose Hospice.
